The Sigma Service Center is part of the Sigma commitment to our partners in industry to ensure that our customers maintain productivity with working, reliable equipment.

The correct installation and operation of new equipment is essential to ensure long term performance . After-sales service is guaranteed by an in-house team of highly qualified factory trained service engineers. Sigma staff have with extensive product and test knowledge coupled with vast experience in the installation, repair and calibration.

The Service Center is located in Jebel Ali and consists of the Construction Service section and Instrumentation Service section. The Service Center is supported by dedicated Customer Service Coordinators, to handle customers' needs in a timely and efficient manner. They can be contacted during all working hours on the respective toll free lines.

The Construction Service section is manned by a team of service engineers/ technicians, qualified and trained in mechanical, electrical and engine repair. A full post service test facility ensures that repaired equipment is stringently checked prior to return to clients. A 'first line' maintenance team is in the field to attend customers needs at site to minimize down time, hence keeping the productivity of the equipment at its maximum. This includes ensuring site operators use equipment in accordance with the proper safety, application and environmental conditions.

The Instrumentation Service section supports Material testing and general lab equipment. The second section supports NDT/Inspection/Coatings Testing equipment. A full spare parts service is provide in addition to repair, testing and calibration. Instrumentation Field Service Engineers are mobile and can attend to any call in the UAE within a 24 hour notice period.

Calibration capabilities cover the following categories of testing;:-

		MASS: Weighing Balances up to 300 Kgs.
		FORCE: In Compression from 5 kN up to 3000 kN,including Stability testing on Compression machines.
		LINEAR: Measurement indication from 50 microns up to 600 mm.
		PRESSURE: Indicating and recording equipment up to 1600 bar.
		TEMPERATURE: Indicating and recording equipment up to 1200º C.
		ELECTRICAL: Voltage, Ampere, Resistance etc.

All the master testing equipment is certified and traceable to a National Standard and are periodically sent for recalibration to an UKAS accredited Laboratory.
